This size 4, handsmocked, hand embroidered, one of a kind  dress, is one that will surely become a favorite, with it's pretty smocking and cute bunny embroidered in a detailed scene across the bodice.

The picture is an original, created by me and worked free-hand, as I go. There are no iron-on patterns used, nor is the picture drawn onto the fabric first. By a process that I have developed of combining smocking and embroidery, I am able to produce a scene that is almost 3-dimensional, extremely detailed, and displaying a variety of textures.

The sleeves and back button placket are hand-trimmed in white blanket stitch. Embroidered between the three rabbit-shaped buttons on the back are a small bunch of carrots and green onions.
