Hi Michelle!
Thank-you so much for your nice comments! Smocking is something I love doing and it has extra importance for me in, as you pointed out, an attempt to keep the art alive, as well as to contribute perhaps, a "new" addition, that being the hand embroidered scenes or images I incorporate into my smocking~

I was fascinated to see your business! http://www.mwgrantdesigns.com/home.html What a wonderful idea! Your cards are really beautiful and I enjoyed seeing your shop!
Thanks again for writing!

Amen! And let me just say that your hand embroidered and hand smocked work is so wonderful and I'm so glad to see you keeping this fading art alive! I'm SO reminded of dresses my mother used to make for me! Yay for continuing on with this handiwork. My business also promotes the fading art of letter writing and incorporates in my love of embroidery and old linens!
